Quick update.

I got all my offers for Uni, and now ive gotta decide on which ones. Im thinking Loughborough for definite.

My bow is still not here. Its been over 13 freaking weeks. megagrim.

I shot at the Cheshire indoors championship yesterday, as a senior for the first time. I shot the worst i have done in 4 months and ended up in 4th place overall.

Ive got so much work to do. an unbelievable amount. and deadlines are approaching FAST.

Im really not enjoying life atm

So ive decided to do a real journal update to test my new CSS thing out (courtesie of `electricnet).

University + my future.
I finally finished my UCAS application and got it sent off around the start of November, and have since had interviews booked for all 5 of my choices :

Loughborough Uni
- 16th Jan '08
DeMontfort Uni
- 19th Dec '07; was awesome, i would love to be on that course, and Leicester itslef looked awesome. I was given a conditional offer of 240 UCAS points (AA+ )
Sheffield Hallam
- 6th Feb '08 (i think, cant remember atm)
Salford Uni
- 12th Dec '07; went really really well, the Uni looks great and the vibe goin round in the department was great. I got a condidtional offer mid-interview and full details shortly after - 200 UCAS points (BB+ )
Coventry Uni
- I declined because it would have been far too much unecessary effort and i didnt really like the look of it much anyway.

This whole experiece has been great so far, having proper discussions with people genuinly interested in you and your ideas is awesome.

18th Birthday.
My bday was on the 7th this year . . . for a change. Im officially an adult now, I can corrupt my mind legally. =]
It was a fun day and i got some great gifts, one of which (the major guy) is yet to come, its a new bow because i have outgrown my current guy. Specs of the new bow :

Christmas.
Christmas this year has been ok. Its been eclipsed by work and other crap thats goin on though which is kinda depressing. Ive still got loads of work to do. =[

I was again given lots of cool stuff. =]
Including :


some new Merlin TRIAD stabilisers (the long sticky-outty bits at the front of the bow) which shoot like an absolute dream,
a dozen Easton X7 arrows, theyre 2314's which basically means they are WIDE, which helps scrape those extra points together. =] Ive already damaged three though, by shooting 1 arrow into the other. =[

Battlefield 2.
My little bro bought it for me so i could play with him and it is a great game, much better than BF2142 imo.

drum&bass.
My collection has recently rocketed up to . . . erm, DAM U iTunes . . .
I would tell you but iTunes is being crappy again.
Anyway, ive got a bunch more and im lovin it.

2008.
So now all ive gotta do is survive until Uni, where I can be free and have some fun.
Im actually really looking forward to this year, its where most of the bad stuff stops, and a buncha good stuff takes its place.
